After 3 consecutive days of rally today Nifty 50 lost 11 points. The index oscillated between a tight band of 53 points. The market was choppy and the mood was subdued throughout the whole trading session ahead of US Non farm payrolls data on Friday. Another reason may be yesterday’s macroeconomic data that India’s GDP advanced 7.1% YOY in the second quarter of 2016, missing market expectation of 7.6%.
At the end the combined loss of Bharti Airtel Ltd. and Idea Cellular Ltd. was 11,983 cr.
