Post Market Round-up 25.05.2015

The market had a negative day today and throughout the trading session it traded with a negative bias. Nifty opened today at 8422.5, made a high of 84441.95, fell as low as 8364 and finally closed at 8402 (-0.56%). Its current support is at 8000 while its resistance is at 8800.

Among the sectors, the only gainer today was CNX MEDIA (+0.01%). The highest losers today were CNX FMCG (-1.95%), CNX METAL (-1.65%) and CNX PSU BANK (-1.04%). The reason for the fall of the CNX FMCG sector was mostly due to the fall in ITC (-3.84%). Its current support is at 316 while its resistance is at 378.

Among the prominent stocks, the highest gainer today was ONGC (+5.46%) followed by BANKBARODA (+1.67%), HCLTECH (+1.47%), BPCL (+1.3%), and POWERGRID (+1.28%). The stocks which fell the most today were TECHM (-5.46%), AMBUJACEM (-3.97%), ITC (-3.84%) and VEDL (-3.03%). ONGC was trading today with a high of 330.75 and a low of 323.20 to finally closed at 328.55. Its current support is at 307.18. while resistance is at 348.13.
