The market was negative today throughout the trading session. Nifty opened today at 8405, made a high of 8413, fell as low as 8273 and finally closed at 8320 (-0.92%). Its current support is at 8180 while its resistance is at 8860.
Among the sectors, the highest gainer today was CNX FMCG (+0.39%) followed by CNX ENERGY(+0.16%). The highest losers today were CNX REALTY (-4.00%), CNX IT (-2.79%) and CNX MEDIA(-2.07%). The reason for the rise of the FMCG sector was mostly due to the massive rise in GODRELCP (+3.66%). Its current support is at 1059 while its resistance is at 1189. The reason for the fall of the REALTY sector was mostly due to the massive fall in IBREALEST (-6.43%). Its current support is at 50 while its resistance is at 81.
Among the prominent stocks, the highest gainer today was NMDC (+3.45%) followed by ONGC (+3.07%), CAIRN (+2.62%), TCS(+2.13%), and LUPIN (+2.10%). The stocks which fell the most today were INFY (-6.08%), CIPLA(-3.79%), BANKBARODA(-3.32%) and BPCL(-3.28%). NMDC was trading today with a high of 129 and a low of 124.75 to finally close at 128.9. Its current support is at 123 while resistance is at 194.
