The market appeared confused today throughout the trading session as it traded with a negative bias and a lot of fluctuation. Nifty opened today at 8416, made a high of 8469, fell as low as 8352 and finally closed at 8398.15 (-0.59%). Its current support is at 8180 while its resistance is at 9000.
Among the sectors, the highest gainer today was CNX PSU BANK (+1.02%) followed by BANK NIFTY(+0.44%), CNX IT(+0.3%) and CNX FINANCE(+0.2%).The highest losers today were CNX PHARMA (-3.47%), CNX AUTO (-1.21%) and CNX FMCG(-1.19%). The reason for the rise of the PSU BANK sector was mostly due to the massive rise in IDBI (+3.31%). Its current support is at 65 while its resistance is at 95. The reason for the fall of the PHARMA sector was mostly due to the massive fall in SUNPHARMA of -88.15.95 (-8.45%). Its current support is at 900 while its resistance is at 1200.
Among the prominent stocks, the highest gainer today was WIPRO(+2.19%) followed by AXISBANK(+1.69%), SSLT(+1.49%), SBIN(+1.30%), and TATASTEEL(+1.12%). The stocks which fell the most today were SUNPHARMA(-8.45%), HINDUNILVR(-3.99%), HINDALCO(-3.22%) and AMBUJACEM(-3.20%). WIPRO was trading today with a high of 588.40 and a low of 550.55 to finally close at 578.15. Its current support is at 520 while resistance is at 600.
