The market opened positive today on positive global cues and throughout the trading session it traded with a very positive bias. Nifty opened today at 8131.5, made a high of 8224.95, fell as low as 8123 and finally closed at 8189 (-1.64%). Its current support is at 7792 while its resistance is at 8479.
Among the sectors, the highest gainers today were CNX REALTY (+4.14%) and CNX FINANCE (+2.65%). The only loser today was CNX PSU BANK (-1.01%). The reason for the massive fall of the PSU BANK sector was mostly due to the fall in PNB (-6.00%). Its current support is at 142.87 while its resistance is at 169.35.
Among the prominent stocks, the highest gainer today was TATAMOTORS (+5.1%) followed by CIPLA (+4.72%), ICICIBANK (+4.04%), HINDALCO (+3.57%), and YESBANK (+3.53%). The stocks which fell the most today were PNB (-6.00%), BANKBARODA (-5.25%), IDEA (-2.54%) and HEROMOTOCO (-2.10%). TATAMOTORS was trading today with a high of 498.75 and a low of 497.35 to finally closed at 513. Its current support is at 479 while resistance is at 526.
