Markets still in a nervous mode, Nifty loses more than 1%

Market Movement today: Indian market started off today with a negative outlook today. Even the global markets were gloom with the DJIA losing -1.29% followed by S&P500(-1.35%), FTSE100(-0.37%). Nifty open at 7865 today and came down to 7777 by 03.15P.M. and finally closed at 7791.00. The highest gaining stocks today were BHEL(+4.29%), TATAPOWER(+3.25%), CAIRN(+2.46%), POWERGRID(+1.98%), BAJAJ-AUTO(+1.92%). The stocks which lost the most today were TECHM(-4.07%), HEROMOTOCO(-3.83%), AMBUJACEM(-3.78%), HDFC(-3.19%), BANKBARODA(-3.09%).

Mahindra to invest Rs 700 cr to boost its CV segment –  Mahindra group to invest Rs 700 cr in the Commercial Vehicle (CV) segment aiming to become complete player in this segment in the coming two year.The company is planning to introduce intermediate commercial vehicles (ICVs), medium commercial vehicles (MCVs), upgrade light commercial vehicles (LCVs) and consolidate its heavy commercial vehicles (HCV) segment along with the product development product which started last year.

Jim rogers says that the bear phase in commodity market to get over in a year – Jim Rogers,a legend in investing believes that the bear phase in commodity to bottom out in a years time. He believes that oil and gold, which is going down currently in the short term may go higher in the long term. He being the long term bull in crude believes that  that consumption is growing at a faster rate than production and expects it to bottom out very soon.
